Join our thriving logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama, as a Material Handler! We are looking for energetic and dependable individuals to manage the flow of materials within our state-of-the-art warehouse. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and retrieving materials and products. Your tasks will include operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory within the facility. A strong commitment to safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have experience with various types of material handling equipment, possess a valid forklift certification (or be willing to obtain one), and have a solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics. This is a physically demanding position that requires consistent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include: Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading shipments from trucks and containers. Storing materials in designated warehouse locations. Picking and staging materials for production or outbound shipments. Performing routine inspections and maintenance on equipment. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles. Following all safety protocols and wearing required PPE. Assisting with inventory control and cycle counts as needed. Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive work culture. Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics environment. Must be able to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
