Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Phoenix, Arizona, and become a vital part of our warehouse operations! We are seeking skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical for ensuring the efficient flow of goods within our facility, from receiving to shipping. You will be responsible for handling materials with care, maintaining equipment, and adhering to strict safety protocols. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of safe operation and a strong understanding of warehouse logistics. Your expertise will directly impact productivity and inventory accuracy. We are committed to a safe working environment and expect all team members to prioritize safety above all else.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles.
- Pick and transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues or maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Assist with order fulfillment and shipping preparation as needed.
- Must be comfortable with Lifting when necessary for tasks not related to forklift operation.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse Logistics by ensuring materials are moved accurately and on time.
- Follow all traffic rules within the warehouse premises.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification. High school diploma or equivalent. Knowledge of warehouse operations and Logistics . Strong understanding of forklift operation and maintenance. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Must possess good hand-eye coordination and balance. Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all protocols, including wearing required PPE . Ability to perform manual Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
