Join our dynamic team as a Fulfillment Associate in Chicago, Illinois! We are looking for dedicated individuals to manage the end-to-end process of fulfilling customer orders. This role is central to our e-commerce logistics, involving picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment with speed and accuracy. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and systems to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack items for customer orders using scanners and order lists.
- Verify order accuracy to ensure correct items and quantities are shipped.
- Package products securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate materials.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and order pickers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counting.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing mandated PPE.
- Contribute to achieving team and departmental fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or logistics role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for using warehouse management systems.
