On the shipping side, you will pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. A strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and workplace safety is essential. This position requires the ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, and adherence to all safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). - Receive and unload incoming shipments accurately.
- Inspect goods for damage and verify quantities against purchase orders/packing slips.
- Properly store and organize received inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Load outbound shipments onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and willingness to use PPE.
