Are you a highly organized and efficient individual looking for a rewarding role in St. Louis, Missouri? We are seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our distribution team. In this vital position, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders and then carefully packing them for shipment. This role is at the heart of our Logistics operations, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will utilize scanning technology and hand-held devices to track inventory and order progress. Maintaining a safe and orderly work area is paramount. Proper use of PPE and strict adherence to all Safety regulations are non-negotiable. This role involves consistent physical activity, including Lifting items up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods. We value teamwork, precision, and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Achieve picking and packing productivity targets.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Contribute to the smooth functioning of our Logistics flow.
- Perform duties that require consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
