We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Distribution Center Associate to join our dynamic team in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will be instrumental in the efficient operation of our logistics hub, ensuring that products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and unloading incoming shipments using appropriate equipment.
- Verifying the accuracy of received goods against purchase orders.
- Stocking merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
- Picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participating in inventory counts and audits.
- Contributing to team goals and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus. This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks, including regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and Safety protocols.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to wear required PPE.
