Join our team as a Forklift Operator in Fort Worth, Texas! We are looking for a qualified and dependable individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load, unload, and stock materials, ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our logistics center. Safety is our top priority, and adherence to all procedures is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers with precision and care.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment and report any defects.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, contributing to overall warehouse efficiency.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management tasks.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
- Handle materials and products carefully to prevent damage.
- Be aware of and mitigate potential hazards in the logistics area.
- Regular lifting of up to 50 lbs will be required.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with demonstrated experience.
- Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and ability to enforce safety regulations.
- Physical ability to perform lifting and other manual tasks.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to stand and operate equipment for extended periods.
