Job Summary:
Our Houston, Texas facility is looking for a skilled Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our logistics team. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every step. Responsibilities include receiving incoming shipments, inspecting for damages, verifying contents, and preparing outgoing orders for shipment. You will operate warehouse equipment, maintain inventory records, and ensure a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Accurately document all received goods into the inventory system.
  • Pick, pack, and stage outgoing orders for shipment.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
  • Ensure the receiving and shipping areas are clean, organized, and safe.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
  • Coordinate with carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or general warehouse operations is required. Experience operating forklifts and other relevant equipment is essential. Must be capable of frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE requirements. Must be reliable and punctual. Legal authorization to work in the USA is mandatory.
