You will be responsible for receiving, storing, and preparing goods for dispatch. Key duties include using warehouse equipment to move materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. A strong emphasis on safety is crucial, and all team members are required to adhere to safety regulations and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role involves regular physical exertion, including significant lifting. Prior experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus, and training will be provided for motivated candidates. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Transport materials throughout the warehouse as directed.
- Assist in picking and packing orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Conduct inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently.
- Perform regular lifting and other physical tasks associated with material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and correct use of PPE.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
