We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team in Boise, Idaho. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing efficient inventory management procedures. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of inventory control. Your efforts will directly contribute to the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system data.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any potential stockouts or overages.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Process incoming and outgoing inventory transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area, ensuring proper placement of goods.
- Collaborate with other warehouse departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, as needed.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE .
- Assist in the training of new inventory control personnel.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics .
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and physical activity.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment and following all Safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
