Become an Order Picker with our dynamic team in Houston, Texas! We are seeking motivated individuals to efficiently and accurately fulfill customer orders. This position is central to our warehouse logistics, ensuring timely dispatch of goods. You'll utilize state-of-the-art scanning technology to locate and collect items from our inventory, paying close attention to detail to ensure order accuracy. Safety is our top priority; therefore, all employees must adhere strictly to warehouse Safety regulations and wear the required PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Stage picked items for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and protocols.
- Wear all required PPE as instructed.
- Participate in inventory counts and stocktaking activities.
- This role requires consistent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- GED or High School Diploma preferred.
- Prior experience in order picking or warehouse operations is a plus.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for long periods and regular Lifting.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
