We are looking for energetic and detail-oriented Warehouse Associates to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our distribution center, contributing directly to our logistics and supply chain efficiency. As a Warehouse Associate, you will perform a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and staging orders.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals in our logistics network.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of logistics principles is a plus.
