We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our logistics operations in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Your primary responsibilities will involve navigating the warehouse, identifying and retrieving specified items, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. This position demands excellent attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and accurately, and a dedication to maintaining a safe work environment. We provide comprehensive training on equipment and procedures, emphasizing Safety at all times and the correct usage of PPE. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in an active warehouse setting and wants to contribute to a successful supply chain team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Use RF scanners or pick sheets to guide picking process.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and properly use all required PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring physical effort, including moderate Lifting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards.
