Join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama, as an Order Picker! We are searching for energetic and detail-oriented individuals to accurately and efficiently pick customer orders from warehouse shelves. This role is essential for ensuring timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for reading pick lists, locating items, and preparing them for packing and shipping. The ideal candidate possesses excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work productively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A commitment to Safety and proper use of equipment is mandatory. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for growth within our distribution center. You'll contribute directly to the success of our operations by ensuring the right products get to the right customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Locate products on warehouse shelves and in storage locations.
- Ensure picked items are correct and match order requirements.
- Stage picked items for the packing department.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and use appropriate PPE at all times.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate Lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous order picking or warehouse experience is advantageous.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to work efficiently in a physically demanding role.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety practices.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring Lifting up to 50 lbs.
