We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This critical role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping. You will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse associates, ensuring productivity targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management, strong leadership abilities, and a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain best practices. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates to achieve performance goals.
- Oversee inventory management, cycle counts, and stock accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Implement and manage best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
- Monitor productivity and workflow, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
- Manage the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly and effectively.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Enforce safety standards, including proper lifting techniques and the use of required PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, including safe lifting and PPE usage.
- Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements.
- Experience managing a team and driving performance.
- Must be able to handle tasks involving significant lifting (up to 60 lbs).
