Job Summary:
Are you a proactive and analytical individual with a passion for inventory accuracy? Our Atlanta, Georgia distribution center is seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our inventory, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements. This role is essential for optimizing our Logistics operations and ensuring efficient stock management. If you have a sharp eye for detail and a strong understanding of warehouse inventory systems, this is an excellent opportunity.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Implement and maintain inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor stock levels and report on inventory accuracy metrics.
  • Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient stock rotation and storage.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all inventory items, adhering to Safety standards.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) effectively for inventory tracking.
  • Ensure correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and promote a Safety-conscious culture.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in WMS software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to perform tasks involving some physical activity, including occasional Lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of Logistics principles and supply chain management.
  • Commitment to upholding Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
