Exciting opportunity for an Order Picker at our facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado! We are seeking energetic individuals to join our logistics team and contribute to our efficient order fulfillment process. As an Order Picker, your main responsibility will be to accurately retrieve items from warehouse storage to fulfill customer orders. This involves using scanning devices and order sheets to locate products, picking the correct items and quantities, and staging them for packing and shipping. You will need to be physically fit and able to move quickly and efficiently throughout the warehouse. A strong commitment to accuracy and productivity is essential. This role requires regular lifting of up to 40 lbs and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Safety is a core value, so you must follow all safety guidelines and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order lists.
- Use RF scanners or other equipment to identify and retrieve products.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and regulations.
- Wear and use all designated PPE.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy standards.
- Assist with inventory counts as needed.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the facility.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and labels.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Capability to perform regular lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
- Willingness to consistently use PPE.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
