Job Title: Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) – GP Surgery, Sheffield Location: Sheffield Job Type: Locum (Temporary) Hours: Wednesdays and Fridays – Flexible start and finish times Pay: £45.00 - £55.00 per hour (dependent on experience and skills) Contract Length: Ongoing Job Description: A well-regarded GP surgery in Sheffield is seeking an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join their team on a locum basis. This role requires an experienced and skilled ANP to cover Wednesdays and Fridays. The practice offers free local parking, flexibility on working hours, and an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: * Assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients autonomously * Prescribing medications as needed * Offering a range of services, including chronic disease management, minor illness, and urgent care * Working alongside the clinical team to provide holistic patient care * Keeping patient records updated and ensuring compliance with protocols and best practices Requirements: * System One trained (essential) * Must have worked in the UK for at least 6 months in a GP surgery setting * Must hold a valid Digital Pin (essential) * Ability to prescribe autonomously * Experience with chronic disease management and minor illness * Excellent communication and patient care skills What We Offer: * Competitive pay rate: £45.00 - £55.00 per hour, depending on experience * Flexible start and finish times * Free local parking * Ongoing locum position with a supportive practice team If you are a System One trained ANP with prescribing qualifications and at least 6 months of UK GP surgery experience, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-supported and flexible role
