We are seeking an efficient and accurate Order Picker to join our growing logistics team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders from warehouse shelves, ensuring that the correct items and quantities are selected. Your attention to detail and speed are crucial for timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of our distribution center. This position requires focus and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Locate products in the warehouse efficiently and retrieve correct quantities.
- Pack items securely for shipment, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and staging for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized picking area and workspace.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Communicate any order issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Support the logistics team in achieving daily order fulfillment goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to perform lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
