Job Description We have an exciting new opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced
Technical Sales Surveyor
to join our Homelifts Team.
The successful
technical sales surveyor
candidate will be responsible for the overall sales, survey and post-installation inspection of Home lifts, step lifts and ceiling track hoisting systems within the public and private sectors of the domestic market.
Ideally you will be based in the Manchester area and will be required to travel to appointments within the North west regions, although there may be times that would require travelling outside of these regions to cover holidays etc.
An essential requirement of the technical sales surveyor role is to have experience in assessing and surveying to a high standard, as required by our customers. A good understanding of the products involved would be beneficial but not essential as training on homelift products can be provided.
To succeed in this challenging role, you will require excellent communication skills and first class personal presentation. Good standards of numeracy and IT literacy are equally important within this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Respond at short notice to our customer requests for appointments and to work in conjunction with the contact centre to maintain efficient and friendly Customer Service.
Ensure compliance to customer key performance indicators throughout the procurement and installation process.
Fully understand the sales process appropriate to the market and to develop optimum sales ability through active participation in regular meetings and training sessions.
Gain thorough understanding of the products sold by the Company and to develop an understanding of competitor products and pricing policies in order to sell Stannah products when in a competitive situation.
Develop the ability to assess the needs of the client through good questioning techniques and to use the assessment to safely specify products suited to the client’s needs.
Survey for the appropriate product without error, giving the best possible advice. Complete a comprehensive specification including a detailed CAD drawing.
Maintain at all times the highest standards of professionalism honesty, integrity and safety in keeping with the Company’s position as market leader.
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications:
GCSE English Grade C or above
