Associate Attorney
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across a diverse range of practice areas, including Personal Injury, Complex Litigation Matters, Business Litigation. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive expert guidance while maintaining the highest standards of legal integrity. This position is an entry position, meaning we are looking for newly licensed to minimal experienced attorneys who are looking to get valuable hands-on, real-world litigation experience . The applicant will accompany the Managing attorney to court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials. Duties

  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis to support case strategies and client advisories.
  • Draft clear, precise legal documents including, pleadings, memoranda, discovery responses, and correspondence tailored to various practice areas.
  • Assist senior attorney in preparing for trials, hearings, negotiations, and client meetings by organizing case files and evidence.
  • Support clients through complex legal processes in areas such as Personal Injury, Contract and Business disputes, Toxic Mold Exposure, and Premise Liability Claims.
  • Participate in negotiations with opposing counsel and Insurance adjusters to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while adhering to ethical standards.
  • Maintain detailed records of case progress and manage legal administrative tasks efficiently within the law office environment.
  • Stay updated on current laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions relevant to our diverse practice areas.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and current admission to the Texas state bar.
  • Proven experience or strong interest in practicing Personal Injury, Contract and Business disputes, Toxic Mold Exposure, and Premise Liability Claims.
  • Proficiency with legal research platforms such as LexisNexis; familiarity with Law Office software Clio.
  • Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce well-organized legal drafts and memoranda.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail in legal research and document preparation.
  • Effective negotiation skills combined with the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and professionally.
  • Prior legal experience is preferred but not required; a proactive attitude toward learning is essential.
