Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals for our patients, residents, and guests, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner options.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
• Assist with food service, including setting up dining areas and serving meals.
• Work closely with our dietary aide team to ensure that meals are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
• Utilize your culinary skills to create innovative and flavorful dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary needs.
• Manage food handling and storage to prevent contamination and spoilage.
• Follow established recipes and cooking techniques to produce high-quality meals.
• Collaborate with our dietary team to plan and execute special events, such as holiday meals and catering services.
• Maintain accurate records of food inventory, meal production, and quality control.

Skills:

• Experience in a dietary department or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
• Proficiency in food preparation and cooking techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knife skills and the ability to prepare a variety of dishes.
• Familiarity with catering services and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Certification as a dietary aide or food service manager is a plus.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
