Litigation Attorney – Peetz Koerwitz & Lafleur, PC LLO | Lincoln, Nebraska

Peetz Koerwitz & Lafleur, PC LLO Law Firm is hiring a litigation attorney. Our firm offers legal services across several practice areas including estate planning, estate and trust litigation, corporate and business law, construction law, community banking, commercial litigation, personal injury and mediation.

What You'll Do:

· Advise and represent clients in civil litigation, with a focus on commercial litigation and estate and trust litigation.

· Provide legal counsel to businesses, with an emphasis on construction law and contract drafting and review.

· Analyze and research case law, statutes, regulations, and relevant documents to support litigation and advisory work.

· Manage a caseload, meet deadlines, maintain client relationships, and exercise sound judgment in handling complex matters.

What We're Looking For:

While the Firm seeks these qualifications, the Firm reserves the right to consider experience in lieu of education and to determine the best combination of education and experience appropriate for the position.

• Active license to practice law in Nebraska, or eligibility for admission by motion.
• 3+ years litigation experience preferred but will consider recent graduates.

· Sound writing, research, and communication skills.

· Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a slight chip on the shoulder.

· Willingness to put in the work and the desire to become a partner.
