Superintendent - Commercial Construction

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the onsite construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. This position will be responsible for supervising project opportunities all over the United States.

**Responsibilities**

• Supervise construction projects. Including managing: schedule, documentation, quality control, budget, act as a representative and job site safety compliance
• Work with owners, architects, engineers, building officials, subcontractors and vendors to meet all local codes and construction documents
• Assist in ordering and maintenance of project related SLED items as needed
• Assist in developing & maintaining construction schedules
• Submit all expenses to accounting in a timely manner
• Answer phone calls, emails, text messages as required
• Complete training and all job related responsibilities within project management software
• Employee to respond to any and all duties as asked
• Employee to report to project manager
• Travel requirements will be determined by the size and length of each project
• Must be able to work independently and coordinate all components of the project with support from the project manager
• Responsible for all onsite administrative and technical management of the project
• Supervise daily operations of work performed by subcontractor trades and vendors
• Responsible for proactively managing and coordinating all of the aspects of the project per the design documents and construction schedule
• Perform continual quality control and safety checks on subcontracted trades and vendors

**Qualifications**

Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required

Proven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry

Proficiency in ProCore, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office and other relevant software is preferred

OSHA 30 certification is preferred, but not required

Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and building codes

Ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously

Excellent communication and leadership skills

Familiarity with retail and/or restaurant construction is a plus
