Role Summary

We're seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
 to join our dynamic team and help drive the development of our core platforms. You'll work across the full stack, contributing to backend services, frontend applications, and cloud infrastructure. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to influence architecture, mentor junior developers, and shape the future of our technology.

Tech Stack

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot
• Frontend: Angular
• Database: PostgreSQL
• Containerization: Docker
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Jenkins (CI/CD), GitHub

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Build responsive and intuitive user interfaces with Angular
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Manage source control and code reviews via GitHub
• Deploy and monitor applications in AWS cloud environments
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in software development

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare cost containment technologies
• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
• Experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks
• Solid understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
• Familiarity with AWS services and cloud-native development
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment

Essential Role Functions

• Must have the ability to read and understand various process flows and procedures
• Strong internal and external communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must be willing and able to work a 5-day schedule and additional hours beyond regularly scheduled shift to cover vacancies, if necessary
• Must be able to sit or stand for two hours at a time
• Must be able to operate computers and phones to support position requirements
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills are a must
