Oracle's Global Physical Security (GPS) Systems Team is responsible for securing the corporation's global datacenter and facility footprint through advanced Physical Access and Identity Management (PIAM) technologies. We are seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager – Automated Access Control Systems (AACS).
The Technical Program Manager – Automated Access Control Systems (AACS) leads the global strategy, planning, and lifecycle management of Oracle's access control platforms deployed across enterprise offices, hyperscale data centers, and mission-critical facilities. In this role, you will collaborate extensively with IT, security, real estate, and compliance partners to ensure that access control systems reliably and efficiently support evolving business growth, regulatory requirements, and risk management obligations.
With authority over the end-to-end AACS roadmap, you will be responsible for guiding platform selection, negotiating with vendors, and overseeing project delivery for new deployments and enhancement initiatives. You will champion automation and best practices, accelerating onboarding/offboarding, leveraging self-service and integration tools, and ensuring high standards of security, user experience, operational uptime, and audit readiness.
Responsibilities
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY, IMPACT OF DECISIONS, AND DEGREE OF SUPERVISION:
This position operates as the global owner for Oracle's access control strategy, technology roadmap, and operational best practices. Decisions and recommendations directly influence physical security, regulatory posture, business continuity, and user experience at every Oracle site worldwide. High autonomy is expected, with regular reporting to senior security and business leadership regarding program status, risk, and innovation opportunities.
- Drive multi-year AACS platform strategy, project pipeline, and delivery milestones.
- Serve as the executive escalation point for AACS incidents, vendor performance issues, and significant compliance or risk queries.
- Set standards and best practices for access control efficiency, automation, integration, and lifecycle management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, communicate, and execute a comprehensive, long-term strategy and technical roadmap for AACS deployment and enhancement, ensuring business, security, and regulatory alignment.
- Plan and manage all phases of AACS projects, including requirements definition, vendor selection, technology integration, rollout, and migration/upgrade activities.
- Design and implement automation for access provisioning/deprovisioning, self-service workflows, data synchronization, and compliance reporting.
- Integrate AACS platforms with enterprise IT, IAM, and SOC ecosystems for robust, seamless security operations and event correlation.
- Continuously assess system health, performance metrics, and risk posture to inform proactive upgrades and incident prevention strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date, comprehensive documentation and technical standards to enable audit readiness and scalable onboarding.
- Analyze incidents and change requests, driving root cause analysis, solution implementation, and measurable efficiency gains.
- Manage technical/vendor relationships, oversee SLAs and contract performance, and coordinate support escalation and lifecycle services.
- Lead training, communications, and change management activities for access control process adoption.
KEY SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in program or product management for access control or security technology platforms in a large, global enterprise environment.
- Hands-on expertise deploying, managing, and integrating access control solutions (e.g., Lenel, Genetec, S2, HID, AMAG, or equivalents), including system configuration and lifecycle management.
- Proven experience implementing workflow automation, access provisioning, self-service tools, and data integration with HRMS, IAM, or other enterprise systems (APIs, connectors, RPA, or similar).
- Strong understanding of global security, privacy, and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.) as they relate to access control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, coordinate across multiple internal/external stakeholder groups, and drive change in large organizations.
- Advanced skills in process mapping, BPR, and continuous improvement, documenting, automating, and digitizing manual workflows.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a proven track record in vendor/contract and cross-functional team management.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $90,100 - $199,500 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
