IT Technician

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled IT Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first-line technical support to our clients, troubleshooting and resolving various IT issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure. You will be a key member of our team, playing a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining our high standards of service.

Responsibilities:

• Provide prompt and efficient technical support to clients via phone, email, and remote access tools.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain various software applications and operating systems.
• Project management - Execute on IT projects
• Network Cabling, Device Installation , Security Systems , and other field related technologies
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system backups, software updates, and security patching.
• Monitor network performance and identify and resolve potential issues.
• Document solutions and maintain accurate records of all tickets and activities.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians for further resolution.
• Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and best practices.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with clients.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
• Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Valid A+ or equivalent certification preferred.
