Bartender

Job Summary
The Jackson Country Club is seeking a personable, professional, and experienced Bartender to provide exceptional beverage service to our members and guests. This role requires a strong knowledge of drink recipes, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized and welcoming bar area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards and recipes.
• Engage with members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking, cleaning, and sanitizing.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor laws and club policies.
• Manage cash and operate POS systems accurately.
• Assist with event setups, such as weddings, tournaments, and club functions.
• Monitor alcohol consumption and handle difficult situations with professionalism and discretion.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and serving staff to provide seamless service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-2 years bartending experience, preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of classic and modern cocktail preparation, wine, and beer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be 17 years or older.
