Bartender/Server

• Knows the menu, including ingredients and prices.
• Where appropriate, explains specials, and makes recommendations to guests.
• Takes orders for food, and effectively communicates with Kitchen staff to ensure food is promptly and properly prepared for guests.
• Performs all table service functions with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Anticipates the needs of guests, i.e., more coffee.
• Stocks bar, mixes and serves alcoholic beverages, assists in inventory and cost control, and communicates with management when supplies are needed.
• Ensures compliance with applicable state health and liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Communicates guest requests and concerns to Manager on Duty.
• Performs other duties as required.

Environment/Requirements/Skills:

• Ability to stand and walk during 4-6 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have prior bartending experience.
• Alcohol Safe Serve and Food Handler training certificates required.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe to perform essential job functions.
• Ability to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Organized, quick thinking and can multitask.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• A positive attitude and high energy level.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
