Dump Truck Driver

Overview
C&C Strategic Enterprises are seeking skilled and reliable Dump Truck Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of each materials to various job sites. Drivers will need to be versatile, as our trucks haul Dirt, Asphalt, Stone, Rough, and Debris. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operations, including commercial vehicle driving, and the ability to perform pre and post trip inspections. Hired drivers may also need to shovel/clean truck beds for asphalt before attending the job. As a Dump Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. We are starting our pay at $21-23/Hr plus overtime. Responsibilities

• Operate dump trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries while maintaining adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with maintenance standards.
• Maintain accurate truck tickets for logging loads and hours for each contractor.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and foremen to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise during transport.
• Use competence to safely operate on sites and keep all construction lives out of risk when maneuvering and dumping.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL Class B and Up)
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or similar vehicles.
• Familiarity with manual transmission operation is highly desirable, but not required.
• Strong understanding of route driving and navigation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
