Join Our Team at Carroll Lutheran Village We're currently seeking a dedicated Full-Time Concierge to become part of our caring and mission-driven community. As a Concierge, you will play a key role in supporting our administrative team, while providing a welcoming and helpful presence to residents and guests entering our community. This position follows the hours and days below:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

What You'll Do as a Carroll Lutheran Village Concierge:

  • Operate telephone, paging, radio, voicemail, and computerized phone systems, answer calls professionally and direct inquiries to appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Provide information and materials (e.g., brochures, directions, newsletters, calendars) in accordance with policies.
  • Greet visitors and assist with guest room reservations, directing them to the proper offices, personnel, or residents.
  • Prepare event and tour signage and assist with maintaining meeting room and event calendars.
  • Manage work orders using computer software and support administrative staff as needed.
  • Maintain positive, cooperative relationships with residents, families, coworkers, and community partners.
  • Perform all duties aligned with the organization's mission and comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Participate in mandatory training, in-service sessions, and cross-training opportunities to enhance clerical support skills.

Education | Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a professional setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels, including residents, staff, families, external vendors/authorities, and the public.
  • Strong attention to detail in writing, proofreading, managing priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, demonstrating a cooperative, respectful, and compassionate approach to colleagues and resident care.
  • Skilled in the use of standard office equipment and technology.
  • Maintains professionalism, composure, and a positive attitude when managing challenging situations.
  • Physically able to move throughout the workday and lift items up to 20 pounds using safe handling practices.
  • May be necessary to assist with resident evacuation during emergency situation.
