Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant restaurant team. As a Server, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, expert food and beverage knowledge, and a warm, welcoming attitude. Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and guide them to their tables, providing a warm welcome that sets the tone for their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated effectively to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, specials, or beverages to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience from start to finish
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments securely, and provide correct change or receipts
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas quickly, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Assist with food handling and preparation tasks as needed in collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Support night club or bar service during evening hours by managing guest seating, taking orders at the bar, or assisting with event setups
• Contribute to team efforts by supporting host/host responsibilities during busy periods and helping with general restaurant operations

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightlife settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus for reservation management
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently without compromising service quality
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Culinary experience or food industry knowledge that enhances your understanding of menu offerings and food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory counts
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and food safety regulations to ensure compliance at all times
• Experience in serving within nightclub or high-volume environments is advantageous
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with kitchen staff, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and management
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in the hospitality industry
