What you'll do...
Initiate, plan, execute and control projects involving multiple people, process, and technology components. Align project requirements and deliverables with the strategic and tactical goals of the organization. Establish and nurture positive relationships with project sponsors, participants, stakeholders, and customers. Measure and be accountable for the short- and long-term project results.

Day to day, you'll...

  • Understand the business needs of the internal and external customer
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of assigned projects including coordinating the business change
  • Own overall responsibility for the success of assigned projects
  • Define project objectives and deliverables to meet those needs
  • Execute against the Project Plan while controlling and reporting on scope, schedule, quality, costs, resources, and risks
  • Work in partnership with business leaders to obtain and commit necessary resources to support the project timelines
  • Matrix leadership and ability to oversee tasks delegated to others
  • Lead change management efforts and enhance collaboration across multiple stakeholders/groups
  • Manage the project budget, putting in place financial disciplines and ensuring execution to meet or beat budget
  • Provide regular status updates to leadership teams
  • Influence and drive adoption of new ideas and processes

What you'll bring to the team...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years minimum related work experience
  • Strong business leadership and financial insight, including KPI analysis and risk mitigation
  • Familiarity with formal project management methodologies
  • Demonstrated decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Effective written and oral presentation skills and facilitation skills
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of internal associates, external vendors, and business partners
  • Ability to work proactively and effectively as part of a team, but with little formal supervision or guidance
  • Effective supervisory skills in a matrix-management environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and project planning tools

Pay Range Information
The pay range for this position is listed below. Local minimum wage laws apply. This information is posted pursuant to local requirements to provide applicants with information about what they might be eligible to receive. Individual pay decisions will depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and geographic location where work will be performed. Successful candidates may be able to participate in one or more incentive compensation or short-term incentive plans, which could generate additional earnings in accordance with the terms of each plan. Qualifying associates can enroll themselves and/or their eligible dependents in medical and prescription drug coverage; can participate in the H&R Block Retirement Savings Plan (401(k) Plan), the Employee Assistance Program, (virtual) fitness center programs, and the associate discount program; are automatically enrolled in Business Travel Accident Insurance; and receive Associate Tax Prep benefit.

Pay Range
$89, $134,700.00/Yr.
