Middle/High School Science Teacher

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to foster holistic student development - spiritually, intellectually, socially/emotionally, and physically - through a high-standard academic program aligned with our school's mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement standards-aligned lesson plans using "Backwards Design"

• Create a positive, supportive classroom environment -

• Deliver engaging instruction using varied strategies and resources

• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly

• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families

• Contribute to school community and pursue professional development

• Earth Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid teaching certification OR 3 years of more working experience in the same capacity

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent oral and written communication

• Ability to build effective relationships with students and families

Employment Details

• Salary Range: $31,000 - $35,000 -

• Hours: 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM

• Reporting Days: 189 teacher reporting days

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32, $45,000.00 per year
