Service Technician

Job description:

WOW Carwash is a fast-growing express exterior carwash with multiple locations throughout Las Vegas. We are seeking a self-starting, energetic and positive individual to join our Team as an in-house service technician.

Under the direction of the Maintenance/Service Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Service Technician are to monitor, service, repair and replace carwash equipment to the WOW standard in a timely and professional manner which includes:

¨ Perform preventative maintenance inspections and tasks; weekly, monthly and annually

¨ Perform inspection and repair work on carwash equipment and accessories including troubleshooting electrical, electronic and mechanical problems. Replace, repair or adjust to ensure the carwash is operating at its optimal level

¨ Facilitate and manage the ordering process of any equipment or supplies necessary to complete repairs/replacements

¨ Maintain proper inventory of parts and tools on service vehicle and storage area

¨ Communicate effectively with vendors and on-site management team

¨ Identify cost saving measures related to service and maintenance processes

¨ Identify and correct wash quality issues or report them to the appropriate parties

¨ Maintain safety standards on site and while travelling between locations

The Service Technician will also be responsible for maintaining the building and grounds of each site which includes:

¨ Painting

¨ Pressure washing

¨ General handyman service such as hanging signage or mounting shelves

¨ General landscape services as needed

The ideal candidate for this position must possess the following traits: (Qualifications)

¨ High school diploma

¨ Must have a valid driver license and a clean driving record

¨ Ability to use basic math and writing skills

¨ Must have a good understanding and an aptitude in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and general maintenance through prior work experience, school or hobby interests

¨ Ability to comprehend and interpret equipment, operating and maintenance manuals and instructions

¨ Intermediate computer skills, experience with Microsoft programs, iPad/iPhone, record keeping and email communications

¨ Ability to lift items of light to heavy weight, up to 75 lbs

¨ Must have the ability to work independently, multi-task, prioritize and mange time effectively

¨ Must be positive, work well with others and have excellent Guest service skills

Working conditions: Extreme temperature ranges may be encountered, such as exposure to hot summer sun and winter weather. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is required to stand for extended periods, drive from one site to another, move around the site, may need to kneel, stoop, bend and lift and/or move items 75 pounds or more.

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $ $30.00 an hour
