Luv's Café is seeking reliable, motivated Kitchen Team Members to support our kitchen and help deliver consistent, high-quality food every day. As a counter-service café, our kitchen team is essential to the guest experience, from prep to execution to clean close-downs.

About Us

We're a husband-and-wife team who began with a seasonal barbecue restaurant in Beach Haven, NJ, and are excited to open Luv's Café, a year-round neighborhood café in West Creek, NJ.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will:

• Prepare menu items accurately and consistently according to recipes
• Assist with daily prep, including proteins, spreads, vegetables, and sandwich components
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work station
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Communicate clearly with teammates during service
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including cleaning and restocking
• Assist with dishwashing and waste management as needed
• Help ensure smooth, efficient service during busy periods

Qualifications

• 16+ years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
• Willingness to learn and follow systems and recipes
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Previous kitchen or food prep experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 40 per week
