Employee Shuttle Driver

Adaptiv Global Solutions is seeking dependable, safety-driven CDL Shuttle Drivers to support our expanding transportation operations in the Columbia area. Drivers will operate a 26-passenger shuttle bus and similar passenger vehicles along established routes that average approximately 25 miles per day, serving corporate campuses, industrial sites, and business corridors.

This role requires professionalism, excellent customer service, and the ability to navigate varying road and traffic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a 26-passenger shuttle bus safely and efficiently in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Transport passengers to and from designated locations, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections; ensure the vehicle remains clean, fueled, and mission-ready.
• Adapt driving to traffic flow, road construction, weather changes, and detours as needed to ensure passenger safety.
• Communicate clearly with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers regarding schedules or delays.
• Assist passengers with boarding or mobility needs when required.
• Maintain accurate logs including mileage, fuel usage, and daily activity reports.
• Immediately report mechanical issues, incidents, or safety concerns.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CDL (Class B or higher) with Passenger Endorsement.
• Minimum age required by DOT regulations.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Experience operating shuttle buses or large passenger vehicles.
• Ability to safely operate in heavy traffic, construction zones, and during inclement weather.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience driving a 26-passenger shuttle or comparable commercial passenger vehicle.
• Familiarity with Columbia-area roadways, business parks, and commercial districts.

Route & Work Conditions

Drivers should expect:

• Average route mileage of ~25 miles per day.
• Travel through commercial zones, corporate campuses, and occasional interstate segments.
• Stop-and-go traffic during peak hours.
• Occasional construction detours or weather-related driving hazards.
