Reports To: Manager on Duty

Job Summary:

We are looking for an energetic and skilled Bartender to join our team at Cargo. As a Bartender, you will craft and serve beverages while providing an exceptional guest experience. You should have a strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, along with excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations.
• Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age and follow all alcohol service regulations.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
• Process payments accurately and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
• Monitor bar patrons and ensure responsible alcohol service.
• Assist with inventory management and report low-stock items to management.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, beer, and wine.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (such as kegs or cases of liquor).
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Bartending certification or training is a plus.
