We are hiring enthusiastic Distribution Center Associates for our growing facility in Tampa, Florida. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, requiring individuals who are organized, reliable, and committed to excellence. You will be involved in various aspects of the distribution process, from managing inventory to preparing orders for timely delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
- Stock and organize inventory within the distribution center, ensuring efficient use of space.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, as trained and certified.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate stock records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, adhering to all company policies and logistics standards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Label and stage outgoing shipments for efficient dispatch.
- Perform tasks that require physical stamina, including frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals and contribute to overall operational efficiency.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for our logistics processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center role is a plus.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse machinery.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the critical importance of PPE.
- Physical capability to perform tasks involving sustained effort and frequent Lifting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
