Our Oklahoma City, Oklahoma facility is seeking a reliable Receiving Clerk to manage incoming goods. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that all products entering our warehouse are processed accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include unloading trucks, verifying shipments against orders, inspecting for damages, and properly storing received items. A strong commitment to **safety** and adherence to established **logistics** procedures are essential. The Receiving Clerk must consistently wear the designated **PPE** and follow all **safety** guidelines. This position requires physical activity, including regular **lifting**, bending, and standing. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming inventory from delivery vehicles.
- Accurately count and verify items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect goods for any damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Enter receiving data into the warehouse management system.
- Stage and transport received items to appropriate storage locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
- Follow all **safety** protocols and procedures at all times.
- Wear all required **PPE** correctly.
- Support **logistics** functions by ensuring timely processing of incoming stock.
- Handle tasks involving **lifting** up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, receiving, or **logistics** role is advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
- Physical stamina for **lifting**, standing, and moving throughout the shift.
- A strong understanding of and commitment to **safety** practices, including the use of **PPE**.
