We have an immediate opening for a Material Handler in Fort Worth, Texas! If you are a hard-working individual with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, we want to hear from you. As a Material Handler, you will be instrumental in supporting our warehouse operations by moving, organizing, and managing materials. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, sorting items, and stocking inventory in designated areas. This role is critical for the seamless functioning of our logistics and supply chain. We foster a culture that prioritizes safety, and all team members are required to follow established safety protocols, use designated PPE, and employ proper lifting techniques.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from various transport vehicles.
- Move inventory throughout the warehouse using manual or powered equipment.
- Sort and identify materials for appropriate placement.
- Stock shelves, racks, and bins accurately.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counting activities.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures for material handling.
- Wear all required PPE and follow safe lifting guidelines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling capacity is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual labor, including frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and adhering to PPE requirements.
