Job Summary:
Join our state-of-the-art distribution center as a Distribution Center Associate in Atlanta, Georgia. This is a comprehensive role that encompasses various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving and stocking to order fulfillment and shipping. We are seeking motivated individuals who are eager to learn and contribute to a high-volume logistics environment. Success in this role depends on your ability to work efficiently, accurately, and safely, while handling goods with care.
Responsibilities:
  • Process incoming shipments, verify counts, and inspect for damages.
  • Accurately stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners and other equipment.
  • Assemble product and prepare for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring safe material handling practices.
  • Operate various warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks (certification opportunities available).
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, utilizing required PPE at all times.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational targets and KPIs.
  • Understand and support the entire logistics process from start to finish.
  • Regularly perform lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
  • Champion a culture of safety and compliance.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with warehouse technology (scanners, WMS) is a plus.
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including frequent lifting and prolonged standing/walking.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and work environments.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as business needs dictate.
  • Must be able to wear and use required PPE correctly.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle lifting requirements safely and efficiently.
  • Commitment to a safe working environment.
  • Familiarity with general logistics principles.
