We are seeking a skilled and certified Forklift Operator to join our logistics team in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials within the warehouse, and assisting with inventory management. A strong commitment to safety, accuracy, and operational efficiency is paramount. You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of goods through our facility. We strictly enforce all safety regulations and require the consistent use of appropriate PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your forklift expertise within a reputable logistics organization. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and safely.
- Transport goods to and from designated areas.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper Lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve logistics targets.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to comply with all safety directives and wear PPE.
