Our St. Louis, Missouri facility is seeking a reliable and hardworking Material Handler to join our logistics team. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and handling of materials within the warehouse. This includes operating forklifts and other equipment, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records. We value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to our overall logistics efficiency. - Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Receive, unload, and stage incoming materials.
- Load outgoing shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Store materials in designated locations and maintain organization.
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counting.
- Ensure all Lifting tasks are performed safely and within capacity.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Certification to operate forklifts is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including consistent Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and basic logistics.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe workspace and using PPE.
