Über
Our Atlanta, Georgia facility is looking for energetic Order Pickers to join our warehouse team. As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be to accurately and efficiently retrieve products from warehouse shelves according to customer orders. You will utilize RF scanners, pick lists, and other tools to locate and gather items. This role is critical for ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining customer satisfaction within our logistics network. A keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to Safety are paramount. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as part of a dedicated team.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse inventory based on order tickets.
- Use RF scanners and pick sheets to navigate the warehouse and identify products.
- Verify that picked items match order details to ensure accuracy.
- Consolidate picked items and prepare them for the packing station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring easy access to inventory.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and guidelines.
- Wear and utilize required PPE at all times to ensure personal Safety.
- Report any discrepancies in inventory or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Tasks will involve significant amounts of standing, walking, and Lifting.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Basic math and comprehension skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet picking quotas.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.
- Dedication to Safety in all aspects of the job.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices and basic Logistics is helpful.
