Join our San Jose, California team as an Order Picker! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will use pick lists, scanners, and other warehouse equipment to locate and retrieve products. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. This position is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that orders are processed correctly and on time. Your work directly impacts customer satisfaction. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners and pick sheets to identify and retrieve items.
- Verify product accuracy and quantities before packing.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE to ensure personal Safety.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors.
- Perform tasks involving consistent Lifting and movement.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Commitment to Safety in all work tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety practices.
- Understanding of basic Logistics flow is beneficial.
