We are seeking a certified Forklift Operator to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. Your efficiency and precision are vital to maintaining the flow of goods in our logistics operations. You will conduct daily inspections of your forklift and report any issues immediately to ensure equipment safety. This position requires a keen understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. We are committed to providing a safe workplace, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory. - Operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move products.
- Loading and unloading materials from trucks and trailers.
- Stacking and retrieving products from storage areas.
- Performing routine checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Assisting with inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform lifting of materials up to 50 lbs.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
