Our expanding logistics operations in Houston, Texas, requires a skilled Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and stack materials within the warehouse. This role is integral to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth flow of goods and materials throughout our facility. Responsibilities include conducting daily inspections of the forklift, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all safety protocols. You will be expected to wear appropriate PPE at all times and contribute to a culture of safety. This position involves a high degree of physical activity, including frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds, and requires you to be comfortable operating machinery for extended periods. Experience with various types of forklifts and a valid forklift certification are required. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control is a significant advantage.
