We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include receiving and organizing incoming goods, preparing items for shipment, and ensuring the overall efficiency of our operations. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety protocols. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, from unloading trucks to stocking shelves and assisting with order fulfillment. A culture of safety is paramount, and all employees must wear and maintain appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves significant lifting of up to 50 pounds and requires you to be on your feet for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and quality of received goods against orders.
- Transport materials to designated storage areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stock inventory accurately and efficiently on shelves or racks.
- Pick items for outgoing orders with precision.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labeling and packaging.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE throughout your shift.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Support the overall logistics operations of the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, material handling, or logistics role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and listening skills.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions accurately.
