Are you looking for an active role in the exciting city of Las Vegas, Nevada? We are seeking a diligent Order Picker to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. Your keen attention to detail, speed, and accuracy will be vital in ensuring timely and correct order fulfillment. You'll work closely with the shipping department to prepare orders for dispatch, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. Safety is paramount in our operations, and all team members must rigorously adhere to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves extensive walking, standing, and the ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the picking areas.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily picking targets.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse logistics.
- Report any issues with inventory or equipment promptly.
- Participate in team meetings and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking, warehouse work, or a similar role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Physical ability to walk, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with warehouse logistics is a plus.
